Old Fashioned

I sometimes wonder if people know how to interact face to face anymore.
With social media platforms like facebook and dating sites like match.com, people are getting comfortable sitting behind a computer screen. But what happens when someones tries to talk to you at work, at school, or at the local store?

According to a resent study, 1 in 5 relationship start online. This means that the first impression,  argumentatively one of the most important interactions in a relationship of any kind, is achieved through email or instant message. This means that personal encounters are becoming a thing of the past. People might see a person they find interesting or attractive,  but rather than approach that person, they wait to get home to send them a friend request. Doesn't that seem a bit silly?

People who are having trouble finding significant others do not need to make another social media profile. Perhaps your problem isn't your lack of interaction, but maybe the type of interaction. Maybe people should use their voice to communicate and not their keyboard.

Make your interactions more personable, regain your confidence.

Taking Life too Seriously

I think marriage is a joke. If we need a ring and a set of vows to validate our relationships then I think were misunderstanding the point of the relationship. Why cant people just spend the time they have together happily without signing there life away to another person? For the most part, I think guys only agree to get married to get the girl to quit talking about it. But after the wedding and the honeymoon, then what? You spend the next 10 years paying off your credit card bills you racked up to buy that wedding ring and wedding dress, that dress she just had to have because she was to insecure to have a relationship without a ceremony?  The bible says no one should engage in premarital sex, but if your holding out for sex till your married then I think your being a little extreme.  Is it a big deal to have sex without marriage? Maybe. It is a sin? Maybe. But the bible also says that any man with one testicle should not enter a church.... So does that mean Tom Green is going to hell?
